Component Design & Build Work
1930's carburettor gets a make over!
BSP were asked to make a petrol inlet valve as part of a major product development project. Our customer had acquired patents for an obsolete 1930's carburettor, originally made in the USA and commissioned BSP to develop the product, assemble the components and provide the initial batch test.
The petrol inlet valve was reverse engineered from a sample and the high tolerances needed were achieved to allow the valve to shut off when required.
